This was the second FOTO/INDUSTRIA'15 exhibition which I have visited in Bologna. At the beginneing I was captured by the surrealistic light, which was shining out from the images. However, it took me time to realise that it actually is not a real thing but a models of industrial buildings, made from ordinary, common life things. I was completely amazed.

This photographer is known internationally for his thought-provoking images. LaChapelle's newest series Land Scape uses hand-crafted scale models to explore the infrastructure of oil production and distribution. These images illustrate the impact of oil production on modern society. The product are overhelmed with an ethereal light - offers the vision of the petroleum-dependent system.
