All roads lead to Rome. So my second journey around Italy brings me exactly to this city. Before, I have only seen it from movies or pictures and some National Geographic programs, however to be able to see it with my own eyes, walk in the old streets of Rome by my own foot, it is like one of my dreams came true. Every piece of this city shines its tremendous energy. Massive and unique architecture , deep and sacred historical heritage and non stopping development though ages of this city, makes you feel overexcited.

The first strange thing I have noticed while, in Rome, it is a huge diversity of quirky architecture. For example: a huge living house on top of its rooftop has something like an old temple.

Second thing that I did not really enjoyed - is that in Rome, there are many abducted other civilizations monuments which redecorated stand to represent Christianity. To me these things look disharmonious. I think that Egyptian obelisk with written Egyptian hieroglyphs if translated unlikely it would have any relations with Christianity and putting on top a cross doesn't make it look right. But that is just my opinion.

In other side, it is completely incredible feeling when you walk through a massive scale buildings and monuments. They make you feel really small, but at the same time amazed of what a high level skill and determination human must achieve to create all this atmosphere.
