Art Space, First Painting and Folding Abstraction project 2

This is a first painting I have created in Accademia di Belle Arti Bologna. Acrylic on wall paper. The image represents the action of adaptation to a new environment. The person is looking, observing and learning things, but still is confused about his position in current society. That is why his personality divides in two shapes: One is a physical adaptation- time management, communication, analyzing information, putting things in order and other psychological- when you fighting within your inner self, fears, loneliness, stress.

FOLDED ABSTRACTION - 3 DIMENTIONAL WORK

1. Made a geometrical form, which shape transferred on cardbox

2-3. Using knife cut the required pieces out of cardbox

4. Started to make patterns of fractalic sequences

5. All cartoon shapes are glued to the plastic bag

Problem cartoon pieces do not stick

Other idea, use different shape cardboxes as a canvas.
